Starbook Sheetfolder
The Starbook Sheetfolder is our latest innovation for book block production from single sheets. This sophisticated solution produces high-quality glued book blocks from 4-page signatures for automated further processing in perfect binders. The book solution adjusts itself fully automatically to different book formats and page counts, so that even short runs and single copies (book of one) can be produced very efficiently.
The new multicut function also allows the processing of 4-, 6- and 8-up printed sheets. In addition, the solution opens up completely new possibilities in book production, as sheets from different papers can be combined to form a book. The Starbook Sheetfolder book solution can be used both nearline with feeding from the new pallet feeder and inline with a printing system or a downstream perfect binder.
